I love this. I live in Neah Bay (6-8 hours from Seattle) so when I saw the Northwestern art, I was happily surprised.

You really set the mood well with the colors and the expression!

The fade out effect you create was nice, it makes it look like she's blowing away in the wind :O

My first thought was British Columbia or Vancouver but they're so close, I guess they have similar cultures. I'm Canadian, so I recognized the Canadian culture at first. Quite beautiful :)

wow, you could make such an awesome artwork with acrylics! I don't like acrylics too much DX but maybe that's because I don't know much how to use them... Uhmm... could you give me any tips about using acrylics?

if this is about native american, why is the girl caucasian?

I chose a Caucasian woman for the “Seattle” painting, because I was trying to make a subtle statement.
The city of Seattle has a very strong NW Native art influence. It is everywhere, from motels to trash cans and even influenced the logo for the Seahawks. In a lot of cases it is just a fashion statement and no appreciated for the amazing and advance art it is. That is why I named it Seattle. I hope this explains it.
Thanks

Wow, very nice. ^_^ I'm part Cherokee. :D It's always interesting to me to see people using inspiration from the native American tribes. And the Seattle, West coast Americans had such a unique approach to design. ^_^

This is very nice, and the colors look great as well. Congratulations on the daily deviation. ^_^
